Terms and Conditions

Global Care, 2 Dugdale Road, Coventry CV6 1PB (British registered charity no. 1054008) operates www.globalcare.org.uk (the "Website") and the section within it called Do Something.

These are the general Terms and Conditions governing your use of the Website. Please read them carefully. If you do not wish to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, you should not continue to use or access the Website.

These Terms and Conditions may change or be updated from time to time. It remains your responsibility to access and check these Terms and Conditions wherever you access the Website. The latest version of these Terms and Conditions will govern any future usage by you of the Website.

The Website allows you to donate to, and raise funds for, Global Care. The website vehicle enables Global Care to collect donations and reclaim Gift Aid (where applicable) on its behalf under the Inland Revenue Gift Aid Scheme.

How Global Care use your donation

Please note that Global Care reserves the right to use your donation for its general purposes unless you have specifically stated or selected an appeal or project area.

Incurred fees

Global Care uses PayPal as its payment processor.

To process credit and debit card payments PayPal charge us a small transaction fee on every donation made on the Website.

The fee is currently 1.4% of the gross donation plus 0.20 pence per individual donation.

To avoid any external fee liability, sponsorship money or donations can be made by cheque payable to Global Care and sent to Global Care, 2 Dugdale Road, Coventry CV6 1PB

Unauthorised card use

When a donation is made on the Website the transaction is final and not disputable unless unauthorised use of your payment card is proved. If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules.

Your password

When you register your details on the Global Care website and choose a password to protect your secure account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password. If you notice unauthorised use of your password, then either change your password or call our office on 024 7660 1800

Your Gift Aid declaration

When you donate to Global Care and confirm that you are a UK taxpayer in accordance with the requirements of the Gift Aid Scheme as they apply from time to time, Global Care will then reclaim Gift Aid on behalf of the charity under the Gift Aid Scheme.

Global Care do not, and will not, provide financial or taxation advice, and so any content on this website that refers to your donation to us is intended to be used as a guide only. You must consult your own adviser(s) about any accounting, taxation or financial consequences that may affect you.
